I have a client that is getting this error on one workstation but not on any others:

 

"Error Checking License Information

 

Can't Find DLL entry point LicenseCountSDD in a4wapi.dll"

 

 

We have reinstalled on this workstation as an administrator.  Ran REGACC as an administrator and the error prevails. 

 

Any thoughts on how ot fix it?   It is of course on the primary user of SAI's workstation.

Please can confirm the version of SAI you are using.
We installed SAI from the 5.6 download off of Sage with Sage Accpac and have Product Update 1 installed. The installation on the workstation was done with workstation setup the same as it was for all of the other workstation. The application works on about 20 workstations and this is the only workstation that has an issue.

Please can you perform a Windows search to see if the file does exist on ACCPAC directory, the permission on folder has been granted administrative rights.

if the a4wapi file does exist on the folder run ( regsvr32 /u /r "c:\ sage Accpac runtime\a4wapi.dll" ) or alternative create a backup of the existing file and try the attached file followed by the above syntax.

The Accpac Dll is causing the error.
Please can you confirm that you unregistered and reregistered the DLL?

was there any  resolve to this issue this is the second time im getting this error first time never resolved it got a new machine and installed and it was working now im getting these errors

 

i need a solution please

 

windows 7 pro

accpac 5.6

MSSQL Server 2008

 

Have you Install MS office on your system?? if no please install MS office and check..
