I am trying to run Sales - Customer Sales 2-0 [MAS] Sample 50
We have had this issue ever since we have installed SMI
Version 1.00.0177 Report Manager
Information on system:
Windows 7 64bit
Intel I7
8GB Ram
Office 2010 32bit installed
Any suggestions - If you look at my past discussions you can see some history on this issue.

You could try making this smaller to ensure that it is only a volumes issue and then I would recommend removing all non-required columns from the report in the report manager, and applying aggregate functions to the remaining fields, which will ensure a faster execution time.
To apply an aggregate on a field, in report manager, right click on field and select apply aggregate.

Permalink Reply by Robert LeGrand on February 16, 2012 at 9:45pm Added aggregate = CustomerNo=BLUE and got the following error message
Invalid sql query near "."WarehouseDesc"), AR_InvoiceHistoryDetail.PriceLevel, AR_InvoiceHistoryDetail.UnitOfMeasure, RTRIM("SY_Company"."CompanyName"), RTRIM("SY_Company"."CompanyName") + ' (' + SY_Company.CompanyCode + ')' HAVING (COUNT(CASE WHEN AR_Options.Divisions = 'Y' THEN "AR_Division"."ARDivisionNo" + '-' + "AR_InvoiceHistoryHeader"."CustomerNo" ELSE "AR_InvoiceHistoryHeader"."CustomerNo" END) = BLUE )

Can you confirm the exact columns that you need and share that with me - I will then create an aggregated version for you or you can do it yourself by applying the aggregate functions.
I am not sure what caused your error, would need you to export your report and share with me.
Permalink Reply by Robert LeGrand on February 28, 2012 at 10:57pm Well to be honest - This software has yet to work at all for us since it has been installed - I figured a basic report Sales by a customer for a month would not break the software.
I have over 4million yes 4 million records in AR History but that for over 4 years of data.
So Customer No, FY= 2011, total sales
Again look at history of this post - Folks from alchemex has remoted into my system before and did recreate the issue then told me I need to contact sage. - Sage says contact alchemex.
