System variables - creating ones
Hi all,
How can I create a system variable for a client's Period ie their financial year starts in July, so they are in period 6, and we would like the dashboards etc to roll forward automatically, not require a monthly prompt for a new period?

What system is this for, Pastel Evolution, Pastel Partner...?
I may have a more dynamic solution for you using "Connection Variables" but need to know what system and version you are on to check whether this would be available in that system.
Also is there a SELECT statement that could determine that they are in Period 6 and if when they move into the next period would this same SELECT statement now return 7?
