Is there an easy way to expand a spreadsheet to the right?

I have a spreadsheet that totals cost codes for a construction client. It is broken down into sections and then does a grand total.  From time to time they need to add a column for a new invoice.

I want to insert a column...no problem, but is there a way that the totals for all the cost codes can easily be copied to the new column all at once?

I get the error for any of the Excel on Steroids Vol 1, 2 or 3 ebooks. The error says "Server Error in '/' Application.". The link address is http://www.alchemex.com/DownloadDocumentation.aspx

Thanks!

I'm trying to download the Excel Tips and Tricks ebooks, but it appears to be a broken link.

Thanks!

Hi... I'm trying to create a pivot table with more than one (multiple) worksheet of "source data" - Could anyone point me in the right direction? - I seem to be going round & round in circles with Microsoft's "help" - many thanks - Charles

Thanks Kevin - I forgot to mention that I'm still on Excel 2003 - I've been playing around with it and have discovered how to get the value as opposed to the "count" - but now, when I want the "text" data to be reflected in the pivot table, I can't seem to get away from a numeric value as opposed to the text

Open up the Pivot Table Field List, on the Values Tab, u will see "Count of....."
U click on that, select Value Field Settings, and then select SUM.
Hope this helps
