Phew, busy month so far in Sybiz Support with the release of our Visipay.Net v10.20 release. This service release is available for download from Sybiz Central.
Just thought i'd share another Business Intelligence Centre tip that you may have come across but were unsure how to go about resolving it.
Problem:
Upon entering the BIC Report Manager or BIC Administrator Tool the following error message appears: “It is not possible to connect to the metadata repository. Please make sure that the alchemex.svd exists'".
Resolution:
This error was fixed by running PLMaint and selecting 'Compact SVD'.

I would find out what his pain points are and then show how to address them with the current standard reporting. In addition, getting users to undrstand that the skills reuired at one level are Excel based, gets them into using the BIC quicker.

Nine members and no discussions yet. Time to start something. I have a prospect for Vision with BIC. He is a very competent computer user and also good with Accounting and Excel. What is the best/quickest/most effective way for him to get started with BIC?
