Is there an easy way to hide rows with zero value across in SMI Designer Reports ?

Dear all, I am working on an Income Statement, which has multiple accounts with zero balance for all periods on multiple tabs.  Is there a way to automatically hide those rows?  I tryed the "hide zero row" feature in the add-in (not BI Tool), it does not seem to be effective, because you can hide a range of rows based on the value of one column. If anyone can shed some light on this, that will be greatly appreciated! Thank you! JingSee More

Hi All,I am puzzled by a situation that I encountered:A macro is embeded in a SMI report. When being run manually, the macro works perfectly, which indicates no syntex errors in the macro. However the system renders an error message (refer to the attached screen print), when the macro is added into "Run Macro upon Completion" in the advanced properties of the report.  If you encountered a similar issue and have some insight on this, your help is greatly appreciated! Thank you, JingSee More

How to make grouping total include balance of newly added account on SMI Report

Hi All,There is a new revenue account (48000-Direct) added to the SMI report. After data is refreshed, the new account balance is added to the report (row 158), however, refreshing data does not update the Revenue total, which still shows the sum from row25 to row157. For details, please refer to the attached screen print.  Is there a way to make the revenue total include the new accout balance besides manually changing the formula? As always, your help is greatly appreciated! JingSee More

How to set up period parameter for SMI Report

Hi All, Is there a way to set up period parameter, i.e. starting period and ending period so that user can dynamically determine the reporting periods?   For instane, we have a client need to run an income statment based upon periods chosen by users.  If user sets the starting period as period 4 and the ending period as period 8, the income statement will show the total for period 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. As always, your help is greatly appreciated! Jing  See More

"Jing,   I am not sure how this could be achieved although I am convinced with using some fancy Excel formulas, you could edit the existing formula that caters for current month to cater for prior years.   Anybody else have any suggestions?"
