Creating an SAI report from and Excel Connection
Hi there,I have been able to somewhat successfully create a container based upon an Excel Spreadsheet using the ODBC driver for Excel. My spreadsheet has a single named range that includes 3 columns. I can add expressions and create a report without difficulty. However it seems that the Excel file must be open in order to generate the SAI report. Is this how it should work? Hi there, I am having a very strange issue for a client where none of the menu items in the Report Tools Tab will launch. I can generate a report with no issues and I was initially trying to create a drilldown and the screen did not pop up for me. I then tried to do Quick Pivot and even just go to 'About Report Tools' but nothing is coming up for me. My client is on Excel 2010 and using Accpac 6.0. everything else seems to work fine so I am unsure as to where to even start troubleshooting…See More
